Bibby Marine Services and Resolve Marine Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop Jones Act compliant vessel solutions for the U.S. offshore wind sector.
The partnership will see the provision of Jones Act compliant Walk-to-Work (W2W) vessel solutions for offshore wind operators and turbine suppliers, Bibby Marine said.
The cooperation will also target a wider range of multi-faceted solutions including crew transfer vessel (CTV) requirements, safety training, emergency response and firefighting standby services, as well as logistical support.
According to the UK company, Resolve’s experience as a Jones Act operator and Bibby’s European services in the sector are an adequate platform for the provision of services.
The Resolve group of companies, focused on marine services, compliance, emergency response and wreck removal, maintains emergency response operations throughout all U.S. COTP zones.
