DTU Wind Energy is inviting binding tenders for the rental of test stands for turbine prototypes at the Østerild test center.
An information meeting will be held on 10 September at 11:00 a.m. local Danish time at the visitor center of the Østerild National Test Centre for Large Wind Turbines.
The deadline for submitting applications is 18 October at 12:00 local time.
To remind, in June last year the Danish Parliament (Folketinget) approved the expansion of the Østerild and Høvsøre test centers by two stands each, meaning Østerild now comprises a total of nine stands and Høvsøre seven.
The expansion enabled Østerild to test turbines up to 330m tall, compared to its previous capacity of testing 250m tall turbines.
