Bladt Industries has contracted the Danish ProCon Wind Energy for the electrical construction of the transition pieces for the Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm.
The work is expected to begin around the third quarter of this year and to be completed in the second quarter of 2020.
At the end of last year, Vattenfall contracted Bladt to deliver 72 transition pieces for the Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm.
Production at the facilities in Aalborg, Denmark, was scheduled to begin this July, with the delivery of the last transition pieces expected to take place 12 months later.
The 605MW Kriegers Flak project will comprise 72 Siemens Gamesa 8MW turbines, planned to be in full operation before the end of 2021.
