Trianel Windkraftwerk Borkum has issued a tender for the provision of turbine monitoring, repair, and maintenance services on the 200MW Trianel Windpark Borkum II offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.

Currently under construction, the wind farm will comprise 32 Senvion 6.2M152 turbines installed on monopile foundations at the site some 45 kilometres north of the island of Borkum in the German North Sea.

Jan de Nul’s jack-up Taillevent installed the first turbine at the site mid-August.

The contract covers the monitoring, repair, and maintenance of the wind turbine generators with a power upgrade type with a nominal output of 6,33MW, including the delivery and installation of all replacement parts and replacement components.

The long-term full-scope service is scheduled to start from six months after commissioning of the first wind turbine, with 1 February 2020 being the earliest starting point. The duration of the contract will be five, ten or fifteen years. A decision on the duration of the contract will be taken during the award procedure before querying final offer.

The main tasks of the scope are scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspection and repair of the components, documentation and reporting of the tasks and the turbine and all tasks which are necessary to keep the wind farm running safely and sustainably, including full logistic, base infrastructure, monitoring and control and spare part procurement.

Those interested have until 23 September to respond to this call.
