The operators of the Trianel Windpark Borkum and the Trianel Windpark Borkum II offshore wind farms in the German North Sea have issued a tender for the provision of the Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS).
Infrastruktur Windkraftwerk Borkum, Trianel Windkraftwerk Borkum, and Trianel Windkraftwerk Borkum II are seeking rescue services in accordance with the regulatory requirements for the operation of an offshore wind farm.
The contract is expected to start on 1 April 2023 and end on 31 December 2023. Two one-year contract extensions are also included.
The tender will remain open until 29 November.
The 200MW Trianel Windpark Borkum comprises 40 5MW Adwen turbines which have been operational since 2015.
Trianel Windpark Borkum II, currently under construction , will comprise 32 Senvion 6.2M152 turbines installed on monopile foundations at the site some 45 kilometres north of the island of Borkum.
