Offshore Wind Innovators, a community for companies active in the Dutch offshore wind industry, is set to become part of TKI Wind op Zee from 1 January 2020.
According to Offshore Wind Innovators, the transition results from the fact that InnovatieLink, one of the founders of the community, will end as of 31 December, as foreseen 6 years ago.
The community will keep operating independently, with Martin Weissmann continuing the management.
Offshore Wind Innovators said that the hosting of the community by TKI Wind op Zee will strengthen support for SMEs in their quest for valorization.
It is expected that they will profit from the access to a broader network and the development of a better and more focused strategy for SMEs in offshore wind.
