MHI Vestas has signed a framework agreement extension with Ziton A/S to include sites where its 8.0-10MW V164 turbine model is installed.
The extension also introduces the possibility for MHI Vestas to utilize the jack-up vessels provided by Ziton for preparation and commissioning work in connection with the main component exchanges.
As a result of the new agreement, Ziton will remain the main partner for major component replacements at MHI Vestas’s offshore wind farms.
Ziton stated that the extension follows its fleet expansion to service the generation of turbines currently being installed, including the V164 model.
