Sif Holding has entered into exclusive negotiations for the delivery of 33 monopiles and transition pieces for an offshore wind project in Japan.
The current state of negotiations has led to a pre-order of the 25KTon of steel for the undisclosed project.
According to Sif, the manufacture of the monopiles and transition pieces and the disclosure of project details are subject to the issue of a Notice To Proceed (NTP) by the client.
The company’s order book for 2020 now has approximately 175Kton of which 25Kton under exclusive negotiations and 150Kton in firm projects.
To remind, Sif opened a sales office in Tokyo on 5 September.
