The Danish offshore wind cluster has established a joint office location in Taipei, Taiwan.
To remind, A-LEAF, ALL NRG, Comtech Int., HYTOR, ProCon and Site Solution Partners established a cluster in Taiwan in October 2019 to support the local offshore wind sector.
The six parties still operate as individual companies but are now sharing a joint office location in Taipei.
“To support our current and future customers in the region, we decided to take our cooperation a step further. Most of the companies in the cluster have been active in Taiwan during 2019, and as the Taiwanese pipeline really takes off in the next couple of years, we see an increased request from our customers,” said Hans Schneider , ALL NRG CEO.
“It is important to keep the cost down to be competitive. That is why it makes sense for us to set up an office together with our cluster partners. For the next round of projects in Taiwan, we need to focus more on local content. The combination of local content and experienced offshore wind experts from Europe, is the key to minimizing total project cost in new markets.”
