Elia and 50Hertz have issued a tender looking for a certification body for offshore platforms in Belgium and Germany.
The contractor will be in charge of seabed survey certification for platform locations, conceptual and basic design certification, and detailed design substructures certification based on independent design analyses.
The selected company will also provide detailed design certification for platforms including all equipment and safety certification, fabrication and installation supervision for platforms and substructures, as well as any other similar certification services.
The duration of the contract is eight years, with no options for renewal.
The deadline for submitting applications for the tender is 11 May by 12:00 local time.
