Heli Service International will provide a 12-passenger helicopter for isolation procedures at EWE’s offshore wind farms is Germany.
EWE Offshore Service & Solutions (OSS) selected Heli Service on 16 April. The negotiations were held under an emergency procurement process and in addition to the tender closed in March.
Last month, the helicopter service provider won a contract to provide transport for unplanned interference operations. This includes troubleshooting work on the Riffgat, Alpha Ventus and Merkur offshore wind farms.
Now, Heli Service will also transport technical teams and equipment from Emden to EWE’s offshore wind farms, supporting EWE’s COVID-19 response.
