TenneT TSO has issued a tender seeking Construction All Risk (CAR) insurance for the Hollandse Kust Noord and West Alpha offshore wind farms .
The tender is divided into two lots, for a leading insurer and next insurer. The duration of the contract is four years.
The deadline for submitting applications for the tender is 4 June.
Hollandse Kust Noord consists of two sites located 18.5km off the west coast of the Netherlands, which will have a combined capacity of up to 760 MW.
The zero-subsidy tender for the development of the wind farm is ongoing and is expected to close on 30 April. Commissioning is expected in 2023.
Hollandse Kust West Alpha is situated about 50km offshore and will also have a capacity of circa 700 MW. It is slated to come online in 2024.
