The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) has issued a tender call for Client Offshore Representatives for the geotechnical investigations at IJmuiden Ver Wind Farm Zone and, possibly, at a neighbouring wind farm zone.

The tender was opened on 12 May, as announced in early information ROV issued in April. The deadline for submitting bids is 26 June.

Four Client Offshore Representatives are needed, who will be present at the vessels or the site of the contractor of the geotechnical site investigations at the IJmuiden Ver Wind Farm Zone (IJVWFZ).

The representatives will monitor if the services/products to be delivered by the geotechnical contractor are executed respecting the applicable HSE and Quality requirements, and within the scope and conditions of the contract.

Client representative services under the contract will be provided from 1 September until 31 December. If the work is not finished by then due to unforeseen circumstances, the contract can be extended until all services have been completed.

The geotechnical contractor has an option to survey an additional wind farm area in the proximity of IJVWFZ.

The total duration of the additional operational survey is expected to be around twelve weeks, subject to weather conditions. The optional scope could be executed after the completion of the IJVWFZ scope.

The 4 GW IJmuiden Ver is one of three sites identified in the Dutch Offshore Wind Energy Roadmap 2030 that will contribute to reaching the target of 11.5 GW of offshore wind capacity by 2030.
