Ørsted Picks Atos Comms Solution for US Offshore Wind Farms

Ørsted has selected the digital transformation specialist Atos to implement mission-critical communications solutions across the company’s offshore wind farms in the USA.

As part of this contract, Atos will be responsible for the whole critical communications value chain; from engineering and design, to installation, testing and commissioning, and a five-year maintenance support.

The solution will include a professional mobile radio system, a marine and aviation communication system, a marine and aviation tracking system, microwave links, network management, and a voice dispatching system.

Atos is already supporting the offshore wind developer in the APAC region and in Europe .
