Ingeteam will act as the electrical system integrator for Green Jade, the first floating heavy lift and installation vessel to be built in Taiwan.

Green Jade is being built at the CSBC shipyard in Kaohsiung for delivery in 2022.

Once delivered, the vessel will be deployed in the region’s offshore wind market, including the Hai Long and Zhong Neng offshore wind projects.

The 216.5-metre Green Jade will feature a 4000-tonne capacity crane, DP3 capability, and will be able to accommodate a crew of up to 160 people.

The vessel will have a large deck space to enable transport and installation of multiple massive next-generation foundations and wind turbines in a single shipment.

Ingeteam will coordinate and assure the correct design and integration of all electrical systems during the full project, from the early stages of the basic engineering to the detailed electrical engineering, including cabling commissioning and sea trials.
