Siemens Gamesa has extended the charter of Eidesvik Offshore’s service operation vessel (SOV) Acergy Viking.
The long-term contract will commence in direct continuation of the current contract extending the firm period until the end of January 2027.
Eidesvik entered into an agreement with Siemens Gamesa for the deployment of Acergy Viking in February 2016, when it was chartered for a period of nine months on German offshore wind projects.
Since then, the vessel had secured a number of charter extension for the turbine manufacturer.
