Atlas Professionals has started recruiting Troubleshooters and Service Technicians for Vattenfall’s Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team that will be taking care of the Hollandse Kust Zuid 1-4 offshore wind farms in the Netherlands.
Since the transfer to the wind turbines will be carried out by crew transfer vessels (CTVs), Atlas is looking for professionals that live within 45 minutes of Vattenfall’s O&M base in IJmuiden.
The Troubleshooters and Service Technicians, under their permanent roles on the project, will start working between January 2022 and February 2023 and will be part of a dedicated service team consisting of more than 30 professionals.
The 1.5 GW Hollandse Kust Zuid is currently under construction and is the first subsidy-free offshore wind project to reach this stage of development.
Vattenfall has selected Siemens Gamesa’s 11 MW turbines for all four of its offshore wind farms at the Hollandse Kust Zuid zone in November 2019, with the entire development set to feature 140 wind turbines.
The offshore wind project, now owned by Vattenfall and the chemicals giant BASF , is expected to become fully operational in 2023, when it will become the largest operational offshore wind farm in the world.
