GE Renewable Energy Taps Endiprev for Saint-Nazaire Work

Endiprev has been selected by GE Renewable Energy to be the main engineering service supplier on the commissioning of the first commercial offshore wind farm in France, the Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm.

The 480 MW Saint-Nazaire wind farm, also known as Parc éolien en mer du Banc de Guérande, will comprise 80 GE Haliade 150 6 MW wind turbines scheduled to be operational in the summer of 2022.

Endiprev’s scope of work will cover electrical & high voltage works, mechanical and electrical completion, and commissioning.

The service provider will start working on the project in the first months of the year, deploying more than 100 engineers and technicians in total.

The Saint-Nazaire commissioning is Endiprev’s biggest project so far.

”This is yet another turning-point project for us, and we are very happy that GE Renewable Energy has trusted in our expertise, teams, and project management skills,” said Tiago Ornelas , Business Development Manager of Endiprev Group.

Located between 12 and 20 kilometres off the coast of the Guérande peninsula, Saint-Nazaire is being developed by Eolien Maritime France (EMF), a consortium of EDF Renouvelables, Enbridge, and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
