Mainprize Offshore Orders Another CTV from Manor Marine

Mainprize Offshore has signed another shipbuilding contract with Manor Marine UK Ltd, an OEG Offshore Company, for a 26-metre Supa-Swath catamaran designed by Walker Design.

The construction of the crew transfer vessel (CTV), named MO9, will start this month. Manor Marine, for which this is the seventh CTV to be built in its yard, is scheduled to deliver mainprize’s new vessel in early 2023.

The vessel features a Supa-Swath hull form, a cargo capacity of 40 tonnes, seating for 24 passengers, 175m 2 of deck space, and is able to reach a maximum speed of 27 knots – just like the first Supa-Swath mainprize ordered in July 2021, MO8, which is set to be delivered in May.

“We are excited and extremely pleased to award Manor Marine the contract to build the MO9, which is our eleventh new build out of our 20 vessel operational plan ,” said Bob Mainprize , managing director at Mainprize Offshore.

In 2020, the company placed an order for MO6 and MO7 wind farm service vessels (WFSVs), which are 25.7 metres long and have a fuel oil capacity of 45,000 litres, are currently being built by Shipbuilding Asia.
