PD Ports has entered into a long-term agreement with Seajacks UK Limited (Seajacks) to bring its NG2500X-class jack-up vessel fleet to Tees Valley in the north of England.
Seajacks will use Cargo Fleet Wharf at Teesport Commerce Park to berth up to three self-propelled jack-up vessels ( Leviathan, Kraken, Hydra ) while not out at work in the North Sea.
Kraken successfully moored at Teesport Commerce Park recently and is preparing for a new charter contract. Leviathan will also join when the current project is completed, according to John Vingoe , Operations Manager at Seajacks.
PD Ports CEO, Frans Calje, said he was delighted with his team for securing the deal which will, in turn, drive value into the wider supply chain across the region.

Last month, Seajacks UK Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eneti, signed new contracts with two UK-based companies for its NG2500X-class vessels.
The first contract was signed with a UK utility to provide support to the offshore wind farm substation commissioning in the UK sector of the North Sea. The second contract was secured with an energy company for one of its jack-up vessels to assist during offshore facility maintenance activities, also located in the UK area of the North Sea.
Last month, Seajacks UK Limited inked another contract worth between USD 3.85 million to USD 7.45 million to support operations and maintenance (O&M) on an offshore wind farm in Northwestern Europe.
Earlier this year, Monaco-based Eneti announced that its subsidiary also signed four contracts with customers in Northwestern Europe for between 189 to 240 days of employment for its NG2500X-class vessels.
