The Gode Wind 3 offshore wind farm was awarded to Ørsted in 2017 and 2018 as two separate projects with a weighted average feed-in tariff of EUR 81 per MWh.
Located in the German North Sea, the project is currently under construction alongside the Borkum Riffgrund 3 Offshore Wind Farm, where Ørsted and Glennmont are already 50/50 owners .
Furthermore, Glennmont also co-owns Ørsted’s Gode Wind 1 offshore wind farm.

Gode Wind 3 will be built simultaneously with the 900 MW Borkum Riffgrund 3 Offshore Wind Farm, and both new projects will feature Siemens Gamesa 11 MW offshore wind turbines.
The 253 MW project is expected to be commissioned in 2024 with Borkum Riffgrund 3 coming online the following year.
