Applications will be accepted via the company’s dedicated recruitment website where individuals can sign up for job alerts, register their expressions of interest, and apply directly for jobs.
SeAH Wind will hold events across multiple Teesside towns, including Middlesbrough, Redcar, Cleveland, and Hartlepool over the coming months where more details will be shared about vacancies and training opportunities at the South Bank site.
The first of these events is scheduled for Wednesday 31 January at Teesworks Skills Academy, Eston Road, South Bank.
SeAH Wind said that there would also be further roles available with the quality, health & safety, commercial, HR, procurement, finance and administration departments.
“We want to make Teesworks a success for all of Teesside and SeAH will bring good, well-paid jobs to our younger generations as well as our skilled experienced workers. Those who may have had to go further afield for projects can now take on a big job close to home – I’d encourage everyone to have a look and find out more as this could well be for you,” said Chris Musgrave , Teesworks Chairman.
As part of the recruitment drive, the South Korean firm has also joined forces with Nordic Products and Services and Middlesbrough College to create two programmes under its SeAH Wind Academy programme.
During the 24-week training and development programme, 30 people will be trained to become welders for SeAH Wind.
Once fully operational, it is expected that a total of 750 direct jobs and 1,500 further supply chain jobs are set to come from the SeAH manufacturing facility.
In 2022, the company received planning approval for its proposed GBP 300 million XXL monopile factory.

The 40-metre high, over 800-metres long building, part of the Teesside’s Freeport, will sit on a 90-acre site and will offer 1.13 million square feet of factory space for the production of monopiles up to 120 metres in length, 15.5 metres in diameter and weighing approximately 3,000 tonnes.
When fully operational, the facility is expected to produce between 100 and 200 monopiles per year which will be transported directly from the factory to the new South Bank Quay facility before heading to the North Sea for installation.
“We aim to commence production by Q1 of 2025 and our on-going recruitment drive will see us hiring staff during our installation and commissioning phase to allow us time to train people so that we can be operationally ready for production commencing in 2025,” said Matthew Hart , HR Manager at SeAH Wind.
