Netherlands-based FibreMax has launched a comprehensive range of global supply chain solutions tailored to the needs of floating offshore wind technologies.

The array of solutions provided by FibreMax, in collaboration with partners Avient Dyneema and Teijin Aramid, is broad, covering ample production capacity, land-based production facilities, and floating production units, the company said.

The unveiling occurred at the Floating Offshore Wind Solutions event held in Houston, the US.

“ We offer genuine solutions for diverse requirements and all floating technologies. Leveraging our existing facilities in the Netherlands, we can efficiently supply commercial-scale Floating Wind Farms,” said Sander van Helvoort , Director of Renewable Energy at FibreMax.

“Leveraging our existing facilities in the Netherlands, we can efficiently supply commercial-scale Floating Wind Farms. Recognizing the growing demand for local content mandated by governments worldwide, we already provide options for either temporary or permanent land-based production facilities, staffed by local workers.”

In combination with the abovementioned solutions, the company can now cater to the needs of all floating technologies, including TLPs, semi-subs, spars, and barges, among others, van Helvoort said.

“Our distinctive production method accommodates various fibres, such as Aramid, HMPE, Carbon, Polyester, Nylon, and more.”

Last year, the Dutch company joined forces with Marine Power Systems (MPS) to provide integrated floating foundation and tendon solutions to the growing floating offshore wind sector.
