The first offshore wind farm the vessel worked on was Greater Gabbard in the UK, where Seaway Yudin was deployed to install the monopile foundations and the substation.
Since then, the vessel has contributed to the completion of over 20 renewables projects in the United Kingdom, Germany, Denmark and Taiwan, according to Seaway7.
Back in 2013, the vessel was working on foundation installation at the Gwynt y Mor offshore wind farm in the UK, after transporting tripod foundations to the Trianel Windpark Borkum in Germany earlier that year.
Seaway Yudin returned to the Trianel WindPark Borkum area in 2018, when the vessel was working under a contract for monopile foundation installation on the second phase, Trianel Windpark Borkum II .
In the UK, the vessel was also deployed on jacket foundation installation at the Beatrice offshore wind farm in Scotland, which also saw Seaway7’s Seaway Strashnov (formerly Oleg Strashnov ) working on installing the jackets.
In Taiwan, Seaway Yudin was chartered for pin pile installation at the Formosa 2 offshore wind farm .
