As previously reported, three turbines at RWE’s Kaskasi wind farm off the German coast are equipped with Siemens Gamesa RecyclableBlades. The wind farm has been in operation since the end of 2022.
Several other offshore wind projects will also feature recyclable rotor blades including Sofia in the UK, Thor in Denmark, and Calvados in France.

Taiwan-headquartered Swancor has signed a Letter of Intent with Siemens Gamesa to supply recyclable resins for the company’s recyclable wind turbine blades. Starting in 2026, all the resin supplied from Swancor to Siemens Gamesa will be recyclable, as per an update shared on social media by the Germ
