Navantia Seanergies has completed the construction of the substation jacket foundation for the Iles d’Yeu et de Noirmoutier offshore wind farm in France. The unit has been loaded onto a barge at the Puerto Real shipyard in Cádiz, Spain , and is ready for transport.
The jacket foundation for the offshore wind farm’s substation is almost 64 metres high and weighs 1,700 tonnes. According to Navantia Seanergies, the unit has been completely built on schedule at the Puerto Real shipyard in Cádiz, Spain.
