Swedish County Endorses Skyborn’s 3.9 GW Offshore Wind Project for Gov’t Approval

The County Administrative Board of Gävleborg in Sweden has recommended that the government approve the proposed 3.9 GW Eystrasalt offshore wind project, developed by Skyborn Renewables’ local unit. The wind farm is expected to produce up to 15 TWh of electricity per year, corresponding to approximately ten per cent of the Swedish annual electricity production, said Skyborn Sweden.

According to the developer, the project is one of the largest offshore wind farms in Sweden that is currently awaiting final approval from the government.
