RWE and the Dutch transmission system operator (TSO) TenneT signed an offshore grid connection agreement for the new offshore wind farm in September 2023.
Recently, RWE and TotalEnergies entered into an agreement under which TotalEnergies will acquire a 50 per cent stake in the OranjeWind offshore wind farm. TotalEnergies said it would use its share of electricity from the project to produce green hydrogen.
