Rotterdam, Netherlands – October 2024 – Davi, a leader in the production of innovative rolling technology, is proud to announce the successful final acceptance of their Plate Rolls by the Dutch client, Sif, at their newly built complex in Maasvlakte Rotterdam. This area, notable for being an artificially created strip of land, is so innovative that mirrors the technology housed within Sif’s production facility.
Successful Implementation and Testing The Site Acceptance Test (SAT) for Line 1 was completed last month, featuring the integration of Davi’s MCB ZA-45 for rolling and MAV 45-520 for rerolling. This configuration enables the rolling of both cones and cylinders, catering to diverse manufacturing requirements. Following positive pre-SAT results in August, the final compliance check conducted has led to the official acceptance of the machines.
