Smulders started working on the first TP in 2021 and has since delivered 276 of the 277 transition pieces that will be installed across the three phases of the project.
The consortium started manufacturing the foundation components for the third phase at the beginning of this year.

At Dogger Bank A , all monopiles were in place in Autumn 2023 with the installation of TPs and wind turbines continuing into this year, while the installation of monopiles and TPs on Dogger Bank B started in May this year.
The first two 1.2 GW Dogger Bank Wind Farm phases, Dogger Bank A and Dogger Bank B, will comprise 95 Haliade-X 13 MW wind turbines each, and Dogger Bank C will feature 87 Haliade-X 14 MW turbines.
The entire 3.6 GW Dogger Bank Wind Farm is expected to be completed in early 2027.
The project is owned by a consortium of SSE Renewables, Equinor, and Vårgrønn.
