Formosa 4, Synera Renewable Energy’s (SRE) third offshore wind project in Taiwan, received the establishment permit from the Energy Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, in late October. According to SRE, Formosa 4 is the first project to reach this milestone among all successful bidders in
SRE recently submitted the administrative contract for the Formosa 6 offshore wind farm to Taiwan’s Energy Administration.
The project secured 800 MW development of capacity in the second auction of Phase 3 Zonal Development of offshore wind.
