The 75 MW wind farm is planned to comprise five 15 MW wind turbines, installed on Odfjell Oceanwind’s Deepsea Star semi-submersible floating foundation.

The demonstration plant will be located in the Barents Sea, 85 kilometres northwest of Hammerfest in water depths of 300 metres to 400 metres.

The floating platform is designed with a triangular shape, measuring approximately 100 metres in length. The turbine tower is expected to have a height ranging from 135 metres to 170 metres, while the diameter of the rotor will likely fall between 220 metres and 260 metres.
