In September 2024, Vattenfall entered into a letter of intent (LoI) with Kaskinen Port to explore the potential of utilising the port for logistics during the construction phase and for wind turbine maintenance once operational.
The project is planned to have a maximum capacity of 2.5 GW and an annual production of 7 TWh, enough capacity to power 350,000 households, said ABL.
