Recently, preparations for offshore construction kicked off at the site in Poland’s Baltic Sea, with several vessels involved, including Van Oord’s heavy-lift ship Svanen .
Baltic Power will feature 78 monopiles in total – 76 for Vestas’ 15 MW wind turbines and two for offshore substations. The monopiles will be delivered by Steelwind Nordenham under a contract signed with Baltic Power, a joint venture between Orlen Group and Northland Power.
