The applications that Eesti Energia, the initial project owner and developer, submitted to the government involve two projects comprising a total of 140 wind turbines with a nominal capacity of 20 MW per unit.
In the permitting process that started last year, the permitting procedures for Eesti Energia’s applications from 2021 were merged which, according to the authority, brings the potential capacity of the merged Liivi Bay offshore wind project to up to 2,010 MW.
