“Offshore wind energy will play a vital role, alongside other energy technologies where this State has a clear strategic and natural advantage and will support the growing demand for clean energy and the need to remove heavy industry’s carbon emissions”, Wind With Purpose said in September 2024, following the declaration of the WA offshore wind development area.
