Port of Cromarty Firth Services Buys 2 New Mobile Cranes

Port of Cromarty Firth Services Ltd has bought a 90-tonne and 130-tonne Liebherr mobile cranes for more than £1m. Port of Cromarty Firth Services Ltd has bought a 90-tonne and 130-tonne Liebherr mobile cranes for more than £1m.

Martin Brayshaw , Managing Director, Port of Cromarty Firth Services Ltd, said: “Purchasing these cranes will not only help to service our customers in oil and gas, they will also be used within the renewables sector and will be available for use throughout the Highland region.”

This investment has ensured the creation of three new positions, taking the total number of staff employed by the company to 16.

Brayshaw added: “As a company that is dedicated to employee development, we are really pleased that we have been able to offer a current staff member specialist training so he can work with the cranes, as well as taking on two new employees.”
