The full commissioning of the Neart na Gaoithe (NnG) wind farm offshore Scotland has been postponed until 2024 due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic both in Europe and in the Far East, the developers of the 450 MW project said.
NnG , jointly owned by EDF Renewables and ESB and under construction 15 kilometres off the coast of Fife, will comprise 54 Siemens Gamesa 8 MW wind turbines which had initially been scheduled for full commissioning in 2023.
